What Is The Challenge Schedule?

The schedule is ideal if you want to get strong without getting busy! Most classes are 25 minutes long and you'll be surprised by how quickly they go by.  I have walking + stretch days on the calendar to get us moving outdoors and to give your muscles an opportunity for active recovery.

What Kind of Classes Will I Be Doing?

You will be doing a variety of classes that will strengthen, mobilize and give you heart-healthy cardiovascular exercise.

Strength training is vital as we age. After age 30, we can lose between 3-5% of our muscle mass every decade! Let’s not waste away, but get stronger each year! You'll find that my strength training classes are challenging but doable. I ALWAYS give modifications so that every class is tailored to your individual needs. If you don’t have a pair of medium weights (between 5 - 10 lbs is recommended) you can fill up two laundry detergent bottles with water!

Pilates is for everyone. It is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening your core muscles while balancing strength and flexibility throughout your whole body.  You will learn proper form and technique at a slower pace.  We focus on quality over quantity in Pilates.  No endless and unnecessary crunches or push ups here!

Rest is necessary for building strength. I've designed your Strong September Challenge to maximize the effort that you put in. This means that you will have walking and Stretch days to give your body necessary "down time" to let your muscles heal. When building strength, muscles need time to rest to finish the muscle building process.

Moving to music that inspires. All classes are set to music so you might just find yourself singing along to songs you loved growing up and discovering new songs that will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step! As a mom, it's important to me that the music I choose for classes can be heard by little ears. The songs I choose do not have profanity in them and will help to keep you motivated and joy-filled.

Will I Have Access To The Challenge After 21 Days?

The workouts are available only until the end of the challenge. For those who are looking for longer access or who may want to repeat the challenge once completed, there will be an opportunity to join membership at the end of the challenge.

Am I Too Old For This Challenge?

I have women of all ages doing these challenges! As I advise everyone, just do what you can! The great thing about working out at home is you can take as many breaks as you want. My classes are perfect for aging gracefully, and I offer modifications through all classes.

What is Strong September 21-Day Fitness Challenge?

Join me four times per week on your own time for a 25-minute or less workout for 21 days, and become a stronger, calmer woman. We’ll sweat, breathe, stretch and maybe sing along to some classics together (air mic, anyone?).  In this challenge, there will be motivation, community and rewards. It can be hard to stay motivated with your fitness goals. This challenge is the best choice for you if you want to join a community of women who care about their health and you want the chance to win fun prizes each month!

Do I need to know how to do the workouts?

No, you don’t need to know how to do the workouts to get started. I will guide you every step of the way.  I will show modifications for beginners in all the classes.

Do I need any equipment or props to do the workouts?

You will need a set of weights or soup cans / laundry detergent jugs and either  a carpeted floor or a yoga/pilates mat will do. We'll also use household items such as a pillow and a hand towel.

Do you have classes other than strength training? Will there be variety in the workouts?

Yes, there are classes other than strength training workouts. Every week you will get two strength training + low impact cardio classes that build on each other, two stretch classes and a Pilates class. There will be a lot of variety to keep you excited about your classes!

Can I do these workouts if I’m pregnant or recently had my baby?

I do not recommend this challenge if you are pregnant or 6 weeks or less postpartum.  If you are past 6 weeks postpartum, send me an email and we can set you up with my pre and post natal fitness program.

Will there be any recurring fees?

No, the challenge is a one time payment. If you decide to upgrade to a monthly membership, then you will be billed monthly on a recurring basis. 

Is my payment secure?

Once you purchase the challenge, you will be emailed a link to join the Facebook community where on-demand workout classes will be posted, beginning the first day of the challenge.
